Global sportswear company BLK has broken new ground with the launch of its first consumer apparel range. Spearheading the launch is Head of Prouduct and Innovation, Sunelia Casey. The Australian-based company, which is renowned for delivering quality teamwear and equipment, has moved into the consumer market via the introduction of three collections for both men and women.

The Tek, Journey and Performance ranges encompass more than 100 individual designs and colours, all of which are available for purchase and delivery via the company’s newly launched online store. Sunelia said the company had embraced the challenge of transferring its technology smarts from teamwear to consumer clothing. “Technology has always been at the forefront of our teamwear product designs so it’s no surprise that commitment to innovation is at the heart of these new collections,” she said. “From the fabric in our Lifestyle Polos to the stitching in our Stratus VII Jackets, we have gone to great lengths to produce an extensive collection of quality, durable and, most importantly, wearable products.”

BLK has a proven track record of delivering quality products across various sporting codes including rugby union, rugby league, netball, football, hockey and tennis. The company recently announced a partnership with Squash Australia that will see the country’s elite players wearing BLK apparel at international team events until 2021. BLK has also forged partnerships with the upcoming Brisbane International and the Australian Summer of Tennis. “BLK has long been considered a market leader when it comes to sportswear and we are excited to now offer even more people the chance to discover exactly why that is,” said Sunelia “We’ve always provided athletes with the ability to perform at their physical best,” she said. “Now, thanks to our new consumer range, we’re ensuring people can look and feel their best off the field as well.”
