More than 13,500 women and men raised more than $620,000 at the 28th RACQ International Women’s Day Fun Run, transforming South Bank into a sea of pink for the fight against breast cancer on Sunday 3 March.
Participants ran or walked the scenic five km or 10 km inner city river loop for Mater Chicks in Pink in support of women with breast cancer. Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk MP along with seven other Members of Queensland Parliament including Minister for Women Di Farmer MP.
Individuals can still donate online to get behind the sea of pink.
