Shining a spotlight on women executives, entrepreneurs, and organizations run by women, winners in the 2019 Stevie® Awards for Women in Business were announced on Friday, November 15 at a ceremony in New York City. 27 Australian organizations and individuals were honored with Stevie Awards.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business is an international competition produced by the creators of the prestigious International Business Awards® and American Business Awards®. The Stevie is widely considered to be the world’s premier business award. There were more than 500 businesswomen and their guests in attendance. Nations represented at the event included Australia, Austria, Canada, Indonesia, Israel, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and the U.S.A. among others. The presentations were broadcast live worldwide.

The big winner from Australia this year was The Audacious Agency from Coombabah, Queensland. They won 36 Stevie Awards overall including #1 Grand Stevie Award, three Gold Stevies, 13 Silvers and 19 Bronzes. Oceans 2 Earth Volunteers from Kenmore East, Queensland won two Gold, two Silver and one Bronze Stevie Awards. Law On Earth of Brisbane won a Gold Stevie Award and three Silver Stevies.
