Amanda Lacey, the founder of the small but big impact PR consultancy POPCOM, wants to see business come out the other side of the COVID-19 crisis.

“COVID-19 has kicked a lot of promising businesses to the kerb. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t feeling nervous about the second half of 2021 and what the business landscape will look like post isolation,” Amanda said.

Lacey is proud that clients know her in the marketplace for intelligent but commercially minded internal and external campaigns. POPCOM specialises in corporate PR and crisis communication. They usually work with the larger end of SME (Small and Medium Enterprises), adopting a ‘director of communications’ style partnership with organisations to develop strategy, create brand and organisational messaging, and solve business issues.

Now POPCOM has launched a vibrant new website, which includes what they refer to as ‘COVID quick start’ packages to assist the smaller end of town, who know their brand and their message, but need extra PR support to get noticed. “We have achieved amazing results in the last couple of months for brands that were almost obliterated by the COVID-19 social distancing laws and shop closures. We did this through considered but consistent pitching and fast turnaround. It is all about angle and creating campaigns relevant for now – we are all in a crisis, and we need to re-think how we communicate business services,” Amanda said.

To celebrate the launch of POPCOM’s brand refresh and to promote their new COVID PR packages, POPCOM is giving away one month free of its \’ Get Noticed\’ package valued at $1500 per month. Follow them on Instagram @busypopcom for more information.
