Managing Director, loving mother and active philanthropist Anna Morrow of Cuisine on Cue is the catering powerhouse in Brisbane and beyond and is soon to celebrate the company’s 25th year in business.
Having worked extensively in corporate events at major corporations such as PWC and Kellogg’s, Anna realised over time that she wanted to work more closely with Chefs and kitchen teams in creating unique experiences for event guests. In a career defining more, she left Sydney’s corporate world and joined lead catering service Cuisine on Cue in 2009. Anna started as a Sales Manager and was trained by Founder and Head Chef Rob Morrow into the General Management position. Using her corporate experience to implement strategies to diversify the brand, Anna introduced an impressive venue portfolio with exclusive catering agreements in place. Somewhere along the way, Anna and Rob also fell in love.
The couple has been keeping their professional and personal partnerships successfully balanced over the years. However, Anna recognises that “it makes it harder to switch off, you tend to talk about work at home”. The reason why the pair has been managing so well for so long is because of the huge amount of respect they have for each other.
This year, Anna has officially become Managing Director and with Cuisine on Cue going from strength to strength, her schedule is busier than ever. Her day starts quite early when she takes some time to herself at the gym. Then Anna runs back home just in time for when her two little girls are waking up, and the whole family has breakfast together before the rush starts.
While having a busy routine, Anna still finds time to look into the company’s social responsibility. Currently, Cuisine on Cue’s charity work is focused on supporting children living in long-term foster care. Little Stars Kids runs day camp programs that provide children with a safe place to build positive relationships with other adults and children.
