The Women in Technology Awards held their annual Gala Dinner on Friday the 30th of August 2019 at Brisbane City Hall, recognising the latest female movers and shakers making their mark in STEM-related fields. This year, a record number of more than 150 nominations were received. The WiT Awards feature a number of awards including: ICT Outstanding Achievement, ICT Professional, ICT Rising Star, ICT Young Achiever, Life Sciences Outstanding Achievement, Life Sciences Research Leader, Life Sciences Rising Star, Life Sciences Young Achiever, Entrepreneurial and Employer of Choice for Corporates and SMEs. A Community Award has been introduced for the first time.
