Directors and social media influencers, Amy Aela, and Tanya Balir have created an exciting program for this year’s Brisbane Fashion Runway . Showcasing their freshest and latest designs in the hopes of being named Brisbane’s Fashion Runway Designer of the year, 10 of Australia’s emerging designers are going head to head.

Models in the show are a range of different sizes, genders, orientations, and ethnicities, and encouraged to embody the designer’s vision for each of the pieces.  Models have been handpicked for the event, each one with a personality and own sense of self that they bring to the runway. Amy Aela says the showcase has opened up opportunities to both models and designers, with many models signed to modelling agencies and designers asked to showcase their designs in places like Milan Fashion Week.  Designers are also given the opportunity to be provided with ongoing support and guidance by one of Brisbane’s leading fashion stylists Kulbinder Singh.

Sponsored by many big names including Chandon Australia, Tryp Hotel, Headpieces By Tammy Lee, Herstyle AU, Satori Minerals, Starfire Diamond Jewellery, The Cosmetic Hub, Tiger, Taupe Cosmetics, Barrel & Board, and The Décor Lab, the event buzzes with luxury and decadence. Guests can expect to receive a sight and flavour sensation with delicious grazing creations by Barrel and Board and fantastic decor by The Decor Lab, creating the ultimate red-carpet experience.  The event will be held at the iconic St John Cathedral and festivities will continue after the event at an exclusive afterparty held at X Cargo.
