One of Queensland’s largest business networking groups, the Gold Coast Girls in Business (GCGIB) have announced the launch of the GGCIB Race Day Event. The event will connect business women and entrepreneurs in a fun and relaxed event providing opportunities to network, team build and have fun.

Founded in 2017 by Asha Peck, the GGIB now has more than 17,000 online members and have already executed four major sell-out events this year. Teaming up with The Agency Weddings & Events, the GCGIB Race Day Event is tipped to attract more than 250 entrepreneurs and executives from across the Coast. Bree Nicholls from The Agency Wedding and Events is looking forward to the event. “The Girls in Business movement continues to go from strength-to-strength on the Gold Coast and the GCGIB Race Day event will be the jewel in their crown,” she said. “Not only is it an iconic day in the Spring Racing calendar being Stakes Day, it will also be a landmark day for the business community on the Coast.”

Asha Peck from Gold Coast Girls in Business has been encouraged by community support for the event. “We have been overwhelmed with the support and engagement Gold Coast businesses offer each other and we’re so excited to see what the stellar networking opportunities from the Race Day will bring,” she said. “In saying that, there will be a healthy balance of business and pleasure with a jam packed schedule of fashion parades, Fashion on the Field, live entertainment, photo walls, beauty bars, goodie bags and raffle prizes with proceeds going to Cancer Council Queensland.”

The GCGIB Race Day will take place on Saturday, 10 November at the Aquis Gold Coast Turf Club .The event includes networking, a delicious three-course lunch, four-hour beverage package, live entertainment hosted by emcee Moyra Major from Major Confident and Hot Tomato and front row seats to all the action from the VIP Events Centre.
