Caitlin O’Loan has a wealth of knowledge and more than two decades of national and international in-house and consultancy experience. Director of  COCOM Caitlin founded the agency to bridge a gap in public relations and publicity for luxury goods and services.

Her career was kick started as a Client Liaison Officer for HRO Owen Rolls Royce in London, where she worked with Sothebys Auctioneers, Cartier, Rowan Atkinson, John Cleese and Andrew Lloyd Webber. Following her return to Australia, Caitlin joined Myer Queensland and in 1996 was promoted to become the youngest ever State Publicity Manager.

In 1999, Caitlin was appointed as National Marketing Communications Manager for Orient-Express – Australia and New Zealand, which consists of unique, five star luxury hotels and resorts, and trains and cruises, located in more than 15 countries. In this role, she was responsible for establishing the Orient-Express brand in Australian consumer and trade markets, and also planned and coordinated travel for Her Majesty the Queen, His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh, and entourage, on board Australia’s Orient-Express. Orient-Express also became the first client for COCOM in 2003, and was soon joined by other high end clients, such as David Jones, The Bollinger Polo Tournament (Brisbane), The Rugby World Cup Live Site, Macquarie Trio, Ahura Resorts (Fiji), and Louis Vuitton.

Caitlin is a dynamic PR professional with a great understanding of branding, and always has her passport ready for the next amazing travel experience. As a result of her PR savvy and professionalism, Caitlin has a vast network of long-standing relationships and is committed to delivering big-picture results for COCOM clients by ensuring the smaller details are covered. COCOM is celebrating 15 years in business this year. The team celebrated this milestone at an event on June 8. Coinciding with this, COCOM recently moved to new premises at West Village, West End.
