Caroline Russo has built her career in Public Relations, Media and Events over the last 25 years. In 2009 she shifted her focus to the Film and Television industry in Queensland. She has established networking platforms in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast for artists in the industry with “Queensland Film and Television Events.”

“Queensland Film and Television Events” began in 2009 at the Gold Coast Arts Centre (now HOTA) as well as other notable venues. Caroline works with Events Cinema group to showcase filmmakers work as well as her other event “Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner?” A signature event that hosts special guests in public forums and platforms to raise money for charity.  Over the years QFTE raised money for several film projects, nurtured emerging filmmakers and helped to create a community base for industry creatives.

Caroline has made a lot of progress over her years in building close connections to China, where she has travelled over her years. Her focus has been creating partnerships in Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong, where she consults and works to produce potential film projects in Australia and China.  She has also served as the Director of Entertainment with the Australian China Chamber of CEOs and founded Hush Hush Biz, an online magazine which features entertainment news from Australia and around the world.

In 2015 she served as Executive Producer on the Australian romantic comedy StalkHer, starring and directed by John Jarratt. She was also one of the executive producers on the 2017 Australian horror film Boar, starring great cast likes of Nathan Jones (Mad Max), John Jarratt and Steve Bisley (Mad Max, The Great Gatsby and Water Rats). In 2020 Caroline aims to introduce her latest platform through her network in order  to build more  International relations with  “Asia Pacific,  with personal projects and connecting more with filmmakers to act with distributors and sales agents.
