Sydney-based comedian, writer, performer and Triple Jās voice on the street, Lauren Bonner is emerging as one of the most exciting new artists on the Australian comedy scene. Bonner’s show Heartbreaker, uses lots of self depricating humour about her love life from her teenage years to today.
You may have caught Lauren on ABCās Tonightly with Tom Ballard , SBSās The Feed , Comedy Central or live at The Sydney Comedy Store. In 2019 she was hand-picked for the New In Town tour which travelled through NSW, Brisbane and the Gold Coast and sold out her run at the Sydney Comedy Festival with her debut show, ā Heartbreaker ā, adding an extra show due to popular demand!Ā In her festival debut, Bonner tracked her evolution from a self-conscious teen into to an ice cold Heartbreaker with plenty of jokes along the way. YWCA Australia is funding a comedy tour to mark International Women’s Day this year and has commissioned Bonner to do a show at the Regatta Hotel Brisbane on March 2, celebrating the sass and hilariousness of women-led comedy.
