Debra Kinney founded DeBras, a lingerie company to accommodate women with larger breast sizes and those who are plus sized. When Debra created DeBras in 2000 she focused on filling a gap in the lingerie market.
The company sells sports bras, maternity bras, swimwear, bridal corsetry and speciality bras across sizes 6 to 32, A to K cup focusing on quality lingerie. This women supporting and female run business also focuses on helping those who need Mastectomy and Post Surgery bras. As one of Australia’s leading lingerie retailers, DeBras is welcoming its new physical store to the Gold Coast. Its second bricks and mortar store will be opening at 10/2633 Gold Coast Highway in Broadbeach to provide for ladies with larger busts.
Debra Kinney says, “We are super excited to be opening our store on the Gold Coast and that we are able to provide women on the Gold Coast and surrounds a huge range of quality lingerie alongside the best bra fitters in the industry.”
She said DeBras prides itself on comfort and therefore the store houses seven fitting rooms and experienced bra fitters to help clients find the right fit. There will also be a giveaway at the opening where the first 50 customers will each receive a gift bag. The store opening is on the 24 April, 2021 and will allow customers to browse the large store for the first time.
Debra’s business has expanded from a primarily online business with one physical shop in Sydney to a popular company amongst Australian women. “On a personal note I couldn’t be prouder to be working alongside my daughter everyday,” said Debra Kinney.
