After releasing their debut single Fall in January 2019, Dulcie blew the Australian indie music scene away with their irresistible harmonies, smooth melodic layers, beautiful arrangements and driving rhythms. After a booked-out and busy 2019, the band is announcing a brand new batch of Australian tour dates that kick off in March.

The alt-indie four-piece from Perth is an all-girl group bubbling over with talent, collaborating to write songs performed by any of the three vocalists. Saskia Brittain (guitar/vocals), Timieka Denton (bass/vocals), Asheleigh Carr-White (keys/vocals), and Madison Hanley (drums) met at Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and the ensemble are no longer strangers to the national circuit. Last year they hit the road with Polish Club and cut their teeth on stage alongside G Flip and Spacey Jane, as well as at Groovin The Moo in Bunbury, 2019.

The upcoming tour dates will bring to stage a taste of new things to come for 2020 – including possibly hitting the charts all over again later this month as Fall is currently sitting as Ocean Alley’s #1 choice for this year’s Hottest 100. Expectations are high, but Dulcie are sure to impress industry and crowds alike, their music is like nothing else out there, making them the hottest gossip topic. “A band who can sing, a band who can play, a band who are in their own lane on a national scale,” said Tommy Faith from Triple J Unearthed.

Along with the girls’ forthcoming appearance at the Fremantle leg of the 2020 Laneway Festival as triple j Unearthed competition winners, this national headline tour is set to not only expand the band’s own horizons, but set an early bar for what’s looking to be another busy year of new music for Australia.
