Professor Gillian Triggs served as President of the Australian Human Rights Commission from 2012 to 2017. As President, Professor Triggs advocated for the disempowered, the disenfranchised, the marginalised. The event Speaking Up will celebrate the launch of her memoir of the same title. Books will be available for purchase and Gillian will be available for signing. Professor Triggs’ passionate memoir is an irresistible call to everyone who yearns for a fairer world.
