Zonta International Centenary Launch

Supporters of women’s rights and advancement will attend a celebratory event at Hilton Brisbane to mark the centenary year of Zonta International. The high tea brunch will honor Amelia Earhart’s contribution to the empowerment of women in aeronautics and officially launch District 22’s commemoration of Zonta’s 100 years of service. Zonta International was founded in Buffalo, New York in 1919. Five women conceived the formation of a new service club composed of women who were recognised leaders in their businesses and professions. They had a vision to use their skills to help women achieve greater equality. That vision became Zonta International.
