Queensland Magazines has launched F-magazine, a new national online magazine celebrating female success across ages, industries and lifestyles. Publisher/Editor/Founder Danielle Hughes Brown says today’s launch is timely, coinciding with International Women’s Day.

“The campaign theme for International Women’s Day 2018 is #PressforProgress.” With the World Economic Forum’s 2017 Global Gender Gap Report findings telling us that gender parity globally is more than 200 years away, it is important to keep focusing on women’s successes by telling their stories.

“Women and girls love to read about how other women are achieving greatness. At Queensland Magazines, we are constantly coming across inspiring stories about females doing amazing things. Our new magazine is dedicated to shining the spotlight on their successes, in whatever field of endeavour has captured their hearts,” Ms Hughes Brown said.

“Our other magazines are South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales focused, however with F-magazine.online we are spreading our wings and profiling achievement Australia wide. We will start with our own region as we get to know female achievers in other cities and states. We are looking forward to sharing the journey with our readers,” she said.

“We encourage women and girls everywhere to reach out and let us know what they are doing to make the world a better place, and how they are expressing their talents in enterprise. We invite you to like and follow us on social media (Instagram, Facebook and Twitter) and sign up for our free weekly EDM, emailed on Mondays, to stay in touch with our stories.”

Queensland Magazines also publishes three quarterly print plus online magazines – INDULGE eat.live.play, HIGHLIFE Downs Living, and The West End Magazine – and an online only The Prestige Property Magazine.

Publisher Danielle Hughes Brown has had a long career in media, working for News Ltd, Conde Naste (Vogue) and other independent magazine publishers before establishing Queensland Magazines in 2004.  She has a Masters in Editing and Publishing and a Bachelor degree in Journalism and Marketing.
