Robin Moriarty Ph.D. is all about empowering people to be gutsy enough to exercise agency over their lives and offering an accessible framework for achieving what matters most.

A personal development expert, global business executive, author, and professor, Dr Moriarty has traveled to more than 60 countries empowering people.  Over the course of her career, she has focused on aligning businesses with opportunities to create a positive societal impact in North America, Latin America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific. While living abroad, Dr Moriarty used what she learned from other cultures to rethink her own life, her goals, and how she viewed success.  These experiences gave her the opportunity to teach cross-cultural leadership at The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, sharing her ideas with both students and professionals.

Recently releasing a book entitled What Game Are You Playing? A Framework for Redefining Success and Achieving What Matters, Dr Moriarty is sharing her observations and advice on navigating tough life and work questions. Dr Moriarty presents her own personal experiences and struggles with living the life she wants to lead throughout her book, as well as offering an accessible framework for achieving what matters through fun exercises designed as a game.  She stresses the idea that “when you play your own game, you write the rules, you decide what winning looks like, you control the choices, you make the moves, and you can design the game to be what you want it to be.”

As well as her book, Dr Moriarty also runs her website, Gutsy, where she pulls together her insights and offers advice and new perspectives to an online audience looking to find success. Dr Robin Moriarty will be in Australia in October to promote her new book.
