Emilly Hadrill and her brand Emilly Hadrill Hair & Extensions has been announced as a finalist for not one, but two coveted categories in the Australian Hair Industry Awards (AHIA) 2018. Recognised as a benchmark of excellence, the AHIA are the only national business awards in the hair industry with specialist, individual and state categories. Judged by a panel of renowned national and international industry elites, the AHIA is renowned as an esteemed awards program. Emilly’s first nomination is as a finalist for the prestigious category of Business Director/ Owner of the Year. Following strict selection criteria, only ten industry directors were chosen as finalists for the category and Emilly is the only representative local from the Gold Coast.
Emilly’s Melbourne salon has also been nominated for the State Salon of the Year VIC/TAS category, which puts EHHE in the running to win the best salon in the state category, as well as the top award of Australian Salon Business of the Year. From humble beginnings working out of a single makeshift room in her home, to operating a luxury, nation-wide salon brand that is synonymous with glamour, style and sophistication, Emilly has been making waves, both literally and in a business sense in the Australian hair industry since her brand’s inception in 2007.
“My team and I have worked tirelessly over the last decade to deliver only the very best for our clients, and to be recognised among the most elite in the industry, even just being a finalist is such a privilege, especially since this was our first time entering! It’s a career highlight for both myself and my salon teams and I couldn’t be prouder,” said Emilly.
All winners will be announced at the night-of-all-nights AHIA gala dinner, which will be held at the Brisbane Exhibition and Convention Centre on the 29th of April 2018.
