More than 200 guests honoured International Women’s Day on March 5 at Jo Jo’s Restaurant and Bar in South Brisbane at an event hosted by White Lady, George Hartnett Metropolitan and Guardian Plan. Guests, including MP Corrine McMillan and MP Joe Kelly, heard from the MC Lady Mayoress Nina Schrinner and speakers the Commissioner of Queensland Police Service Katarina Carroll, Bravehearts’ Hetty and Kayleen Johnston, voice over artist from ABC’s Bluey Melanie Zanetti and Michelle Schlitter from Blue HOPE. While guests dined on a delicious three course lunch, they were entertained by Amelia Ayris and Cassi Hilbers.
