Layne Beachley AO is regarded as the most successful female surfer in history. Her dedication to success saw her as the only surfer, male or female, to claim six consecutive world titles between 1998 and 2003. Layne went on to win a seventh world title in 2006 before retiring from the World Tour in 2008.

Her no bullshit leadership style blazed a trail for equality at the beach, on the waves and in the boardroom, and she is driven to help others, especially women, find and use their voice to instigate change, challenge the status quo and pave the way for future generations.

Layne is also Chief Awakening Officer at Awake Academy by Layne Beachley. She will speak at the Women in Leadership Summit 2022 in Sydney from 22-25 February on the topic, Achieving Sustained Success.
