Michelle Fragar played Rugby growing up which she feels helped set the tone for the strength and resilience she would need later in life.

Surviving Skin Cancer in her 20s Michelle was always determined to make the most of life. After working for 20 years in a male dominated industry with one too many boob stares, Michelle decided to try something new.

Michelle took a leap of faith and decided to start her own small business ‘BRANDiT’ five years ago. It started in her spare bedroom with two Juniors and is now a thriving Agency with a brand-new office in Burleigh Heads and has been experiencing over 40 per cent in growth each year.

Michelle’s Agency specialises in Marketing, Branding, Public Relations and Digital. Employing over 10 people in both full time and consultancy roles with all but one staff member being female. Workplace culture is important to Michelle, not only does BRANDiT have an open communications policy we enjoy perks such as working from home every Friday and being a dog friendly office.

These are some of many reasons Michelle was recently nominated for ‘Employer of the Year’ by ‘Gold Coast Women in Business’ on top of that, due to Michelle’s dedication to mentoring and employing women she is currently a QLD State Finalist for the ‘Telstra Business Awards’ in the category of ‘Accelerating Women.’

Since embarking on her new adventure, Michelle has held the role of Chair of the Australian Marketing Institute’s (AMI) QLD committee and in October 2020, she was awarded the prestigious “CPM of the Year” positioning her as a leading marketer in Australia.

On a personal and business level Michelle has always been passionate about helping vulnerable women and Indigenous Australians. She wants to create a marketing training program to help them enter the corporate space.
