The arrival of renowned European brands, Dolce and Gabanna, Fendi, and Stella McCartney was the turning point for luxury online fashion retailer, LM Bambini in 2017.

Founded by mother of two, Natalia Thliveris, LM Bambini was born of a desire to provide Australian parents with access to high quality, designer clothing for their children. This was something Natalia found difficult following the birth of her two boys, eleven-year-old Lucas, and five-year-old Markos. “There was a lack of quality products and clothing for kids, here in Australia,” she said.

Natalia enforces the power of ‘knowing your brand identity’ and knowing what you stand for as a company which has been the hallmark of the company’s success. And so, she set herself a goal – to bring the best that Europe has to offer, right to our doorstep.

Ironically, growing up, Natalia hoped to become a veterinarian, and eventually a singer – an ambition she still holds to this day. However during her 20s, she discovered a love of clothes and accessories, with a undeniable preference for luxury brands. Natalia instinctively drew on her own considerable design talent and love for fashion. “I can’t explain the feeling but it’s like a therapy for me!”

Of course, after having her children, she wanted only the same high quality for clothing for her boys, as she wanted for herself. “I always wanted them to be dressed in quality clothing above everything else.” Natalia has an incredible endurance and ability to set her dreams high. It was that intense passion that drove the first year of LM Bambini’s growth, with Natalia having limited business experience behind her.

“It was a big learning curve for myself, as I had never owned a business before, and being able to understand all aspects of the business proved difficult at first,” she says. Thankfully, she was also fortunate to have guidance from her parents on many business aspects, which helped her stay positive during difficult times.
