Laura Geitz is a former Queensland Firebirds and Australian Diamonds netball icon and advocate for women in sport.  Geitz has teamed up with Australian active wear brand Tribal Sport to unveil Tribal Netball Geitzy.

A first of its kind, innovative range of women’s netball clothing, Geitz said the collaboration was an exciting opportunity to bring a fresh approach to women’s netball clothing. “When we first set out to create the range, my focus was to ensure comfort and sun safe design options while encapsulating the pride you feel when wearing your team uniform. The entire range has a modern look, sun protection through the use of specialised fabrics and technology and most importantly, it’s comfortable and can take you form training to game day,” she said.

As an advocate for women in sport, Gietz hopes the range will inspire women of any age to take up netball as a sport, and be sun safe and comfortable while doing it. Tribal Sport CEO David Lake said it was exciting to work on a project alongside Geitz and utilising the family-owned company’s innovative technologies. “The is the most advanced clothing range to date for Australian netball players and it’s been fantastic to create it alongside such an icon of the sport,” he said. “Our team live and breathe sport and the Tribal Netball Geitzy range truly showcases our passion for providing the finest sportswear and team apparel possible for Australian teams and clubs”.
