Pip Summerville is the Founder and Creative Director of Tonik, an all-natural health capsule company, with a no-fluff approach to feeling good. Born out of the desire to make natural health supplements easier and more convenient for the health conscious consumer, Tonik was founded in 2016 by Pip and her father Glenn.

Born and raised in New Zealand, Pip led a double life as an aspiring competitive rower and her dad’s personal pharmacy student. Struggling to find a balance while living the life as a professional athlete and not truly understanding what ‘health’ meant to her, Pip overtime developed an unhealthy relationship with food. This path then led her to shift her thinking and approach to her life as a whole and she turned to wholefoods.

Pip credits her father introducing her to Apple Cider Vinegar, with reaching a turning point in her life. Surprised that she could not find her favourite health product in capsule form, Pip and her dad set out to create the first organic, natural, Apple Cider Vinegar capsule. Tonik’s four variants of supplements now include Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, Hemp Seed Oil, Curcumin and Turmeric and Coconut Oil, aiming to deliver the same benefits of the natural ingredients in handy capsule form.

Pip’s background in marketing and design, having managed a number of successful campaigns with brands such as Billabong, Quicksilver and Hi Smile, to name a few, is responsible for Tonik’s strong sales and popularity. Beautiful branding, positive word of mouth and a contemporary social media and marketing strategy, sets the brand apart from its competitors. When Pip isn’t running her two successful businesses, you’ll find the Gold Coast local walking her Golden Retrievers at the beach, and catching up with family and friends over a gin and tonic.
