Three of Australia’s leading female public relations executives, Michelle Hutton, Anita Godbeer and Rosemary Mullaly will be presenting at this year’s PRIA National Conference. The theme for this year is ‘PR and the New World Order: Trust, transformation and relevance.’
Michelle Hutton recently returned to Australia from London as Chief Executive Officer, Australia and Chief Growth Officer, Asia Pacific at Edelman. Hutton was President of the 2019 Cannes Lions Festival and will speak on the opportunities the festival can provide for Australian practitioners. Michelle believes that public relations is a craft that increasingly matters to businesses, brands and society.
Anita Godbeer is the General Manager of PR, Social and Content at Tourism Australia. She will discuss the earned and owned media strategies utilisted to promote Australia to thirteen key international markets. Anita joined Tourism Australia in July 2011 as Global Manager for Public Relations. Godbeer has had a leading role in the organisation’s public relations and social teams. Previously Godbeer had worked as PR Director for Cirque du Soliel, been involved in production at Network Ten and publicity for Taronga Zoo.
Rosemary Mullaly is the Executive Director and Corporate Secretary at the Emergency Services Telecommunications Authority (ESTA). Mullaly brings expertise in communication, governance and compliance to her role. The integration of emergency services communications is unique to Australia. As a result, the ESTA handles substantial volumes of emergency calls.
