Jayne Herrmann, co-founder of Glamping Hire Co., has received the Rising Star Honours for a small business at the Greater Brisbane iteration of the Women in Business Awards.

Herrmann has spent the last two years creating stylised glamping solutions to accommodate every type of social gathering. Previously she worked as a film producer in visual effects for 20 years, but as the modern mental health movement began to gain traction, Herrmann became inspired and grew an interest in her own personal growth for improved wellness. Herrmann wanted to create experiences for people to unwind in style, away from the city and surrounded by fresh air, less stress, sunshine and a good night’s sleep. Herrmann is an avid believer in the benefits of being outdoors. For this reason, she created Glamping Hire Co.

Glamping Hire Co. produces custom-made experiences from ethereal weddings, zenyoga sanctuaries and luxury corporate retreats in nature. the company can create experiences that include a customised single tent for a romantic haven or a glam-fest village of over 70 tents. Glamping Hire Co. aims to take the difficulties away from camping and allow customers to focus on comfort and extravagance. Having recently added a range of large format event size tipis to the business, Herrmann is excited to see her business grow. Her journey as a rising star entrepreneur has only just begun.
