Sam White started her first business at age 24 after going through a series of challenging and traumatic events. She lost her mother, she broke her leg and she ended a relationship.

She then went to become the founder and CEO of five successful businesses – Pukka Insure, Action 365, Freedom Brokers, the umbrella company Freedom Services Group and newly launched Stella Insurance in Australia.

Born in the UK, Sam decided to launch her insurance business in Australia during the COVID-19 pandemic. Sam is driven by the desire of changing the insurance industry for the better. She is a vocal supporter of equal rights and the promotion of diversity throughout the workplace. Sam currently employs over 250 people in the UK, Gibraltar and Australia.

Sam is a born leader and motivator, that is how her employers describe her, she is also charismatic and opportunistic which are essential qualities when securing investment and capacity for her business.

Chairman and Founder at ILC, Chris Ashworth, says Sam is a natural when it comes to entrepreneurship. “She has a natural entrepreneurial instinct that has enabled her to predict and get in front of changes in the market to create opportunity,” he said.
