Twenty-two year old singer/song writer Jessica Elliott (Oh Bailey) is from the buzzing music hub of Brisbane. She is currently studying her Bachelor of Music at JMC Academy and has just released a single called Free Fall, which reached number nine on the Triple J unearthed charts and number three in the pop genre chart.

Oh Bailey delivers a synth-pop sound, rendered in dreamy guitar and drum melodies. Her silvery voice, authentic tones and thought provoking lyrics hook you from the very first notes played. Oh Bailey uncovers her raw emotional journey, fused with electronic bliss in her debut single, Free Fall. The track sent sparks to the hearts of her audience whilst propelling her up the charts.

Free Fall is about the concept that ‘love is blind’. The song explores the action of looking past a partner’s flaws, uncertainty and feeling of loss and longing. In Jess’s words, Free Fall is about being trapped in a bad relationship, but not being able to leave because you love them/believe they will change … you are addicted to them.

Oh Bailey draws her inspiration from Maggie Rogers, Julia Jacklin, Clea and Lorde . Her sound is similar to artists such as The Japanese House, The Aces and Hatchie. Stay tuned in as Oh Bailey is currently working on her upcoming single ThirtyThree … ready to spark more hearts.
