Charter Manager & Charter Broker for Fraser Yachts Australia Joanna Crutch will represent Corroboree & ATAO for Charter at the Gold Coast’s Australian Superyacht Rendezvous by showcasing the vessels to its high end audience.
When asked to describe her job and what is it that she does on board of these vessels Crutch said, “I manage three superyachts for term charters by launching dynamic charter marketing to maximise the potential of the owners yacht. I act as the owners agent, and promote the yacht to the international & local brokerage community. I deal directly with the captains onboard working on operational administrative activities including the processing of enquiries, negotiating rates, drawing up contracts, liaison with crew and much much more. My aim is to reach the yachts full charter potential. I also act as a charter broker, working on behalf of the client to help navigate the world of yacht charters available to them and to work closely with the client to create a charter vacation that suits not only their taste but their budget and make it one they will never forget.”
She admires the superyacht industry which is filled with endless opportunities, proving every day is different. She elaborates how it is the most luxurious, exclusive and liberating industry to be a part of. “I love making new connections and creating dream adventures and holidays onboard some of the most prestigious yachts not only in the South Pacific but all over the world. I love that this industry chose me,” she said.
What makes her job unique is the fact that she is constantly liaising with all different nationalities in different parts of the globe and they all work together to achieve the same goal. This event is mostly for Australians since they are such avid yachting enthusiasts and the Australian Superyacht Rendezvous captures the potential of it. It gives clients the opportunity to view the vessels all in one location and for the industry to get together and work as one as we support each other to grow Australia/South pacific as a charter destination.
