Brisbane mum, Talleah de Fontenelle has won bronze at the 2019 St.George Banking Group AusMumpreneur Awards in the Handmade Business Award section. Her business, T-Leaf Collections creates a beautiful range of high quality gifts and home decor that capture your favourite memories. Having only founded her business in 2014 and with over 350 nominees at the awards night she noted her excitement to be acknowledged at such an event.  “I was so excited when my name got called, especially when there were so many amazing women in the room. It was so wonderful and meant so much to be recognised for the hard work that I have put in growing my business,” said Ms. de Fontenelle.

A true creative and natural born businesswoman, she started T-Leaf Collections while working full time in the mining industry in the pursuit of a more creative outlet. Having started as an online retail outlet selling unique handmade wares from independent small businesses around the world, T-Leaf Collections has now created its own branded gift called ‘Memory Drops’. Created by Ms. de Fontenelle as a creative and on-trend way to display photos and your favourite memories users are able to create a personalised hanging photo display for their homes. “I now work full-time on my business, creating unique designs to help others display their special memories,” she said.

The AusMumpreneur Awards were created to celebrate, inspire and elevate Australian Mums in business and acknowledge success in business, product development & innovation. “It was an incredible event with such a high-calibre of women. I left feeling inspired and eager to keep pushing and to keep growing! I set big goals for myself during the event, aiming to turnover half a million dollars next financial year,” said Ms. de Fontenelle.
