Australian pet owners now have the opportunity to give their pooches a taste of the high life with the launch of Topdog Boutique’, a luxury pet accessory brand created by Queensland entrepreneur, Alex Dreise.

The passion project turned business stemmed from Alex’s long held love of dogs and design, and the personal frustration she experienced trying to source high quality accessories for her beloved Shih-tzu, Romeo. Dreise has since scoured the globe for the best pet products, and carefully curated them for similar minded pet owners looking to spoil their favourite canine.

Brands include the San Fran’s cult label Foggy Dog, Brooklyn based btw Ceramics, German wunderkind MiaCara, the sleek Scandi-meets-Cali designs of Max-Bone, London’s Fetch & Follow, and Labbvenn – a brand direct from the Sudetes Mountains in south-west Poland.

Closer to home, customers will find vegan cork leather collars and leashes from Melbourne’s Herzog, Australian bush oil scented kennel spray from Bondi Wash, and velvet dog beds from Toowoomba’s Wanderless Barkley.

Customers can also purchase plaid bandanas handmade in San Fran, hand painted designer bowls, leather leashes and waste bags, fox fur imitation blankets, concrete drinking troughs, collars made from tanned Italian bridle leather, and “That is so fetch” collar tags.

Each product is made from sustainably sourced, thoughtfully designed materials that have been personally approved by both Dreise and Romeo.
