Women in Design and Construction (WIDAC) had its VIP Networking Event on 8 August in Brisbane. The event was organised in hopes of gathering ladies from the WIDAC society to share their experiences working in the relevant industries and to use the opportunity to network with the other members. Purple gin and goodie bags were some of the many treats attendees were greeted with. Located in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, WIDAC encourages each individual to be equally supported and encouraged to thrive in the design, construction and related industries. It conducts monthly workshops across three cities for members to participate in.
