Brooke Schubert is not the typical overnight success musician. Her career has been 20 years in the making, her story playing out like a movie complete with all the highs and lows both professionally and personally.

In this latest chapter, her star is rising once again, brighter than ever before. “I was 10 years old when I first took the stage during a talent quest. It was at the Gympie Muster. I won and had to sing in front of 25,000 people on main stage. That early and in that moment, I knew what I was put on this earth to do” Brooke explains.

Hand picked by Keith Urban in 2014, Brooke was invited to duet with him on his smash hit We Were Us for seven shows during his Light the Fuse tour. Her appearance was praised by many of Australia’s leading entertainment columns. The invitation from Keith came after Brooke uploaded a Youtube video titled Dear Keith Urban which was viewed by the country music star. Keith’s show of support continued while Brooke was a contestant on The Voice 2017, which she sites as another career highlight. Many years of performing has also seen her share the stage with Tina Arena, Jessica Mauboy, Joel Madden and Sheppard, just to name a few.

Brooke and her family moved to Brisbane in September 2017, to further her music career and she is continuing to achieve new success. August and September are the biggest months of 2018 for Brooke Schubert and she is currently in the studio working on a new single, due for release in Summer 2018. “This new single feels like exactly what I’ve been meaning to sound like since I first started recording. I’ve finally got the guts to sing to the soundtrack that I’ve always heard in my head. It’s raw, it’s rocking country, it’s sensual and it’s absolutely 100 per cent me.”
