Luxury European label Domani Shoes Manager Candice Faes Pascolutti is expanding her family’s legacy to becomeĀ a fashion and lifestyle concept store at Marina Mirage Shopping Centre.
The newly rebranded DOMANI+CO will sell a carefully curated selection of exclusive European ladies footwear and elite designer lifestyle products, with a focus of unique, contemporary pieces and exclusive brands to DOMANI+CO. The expansion will see a merger of Domani Shoes with bespoke European homewares and lifestyle boutique, Bon Genre, also located at Marina Mirage on the upper level.
The Gold Coast based Domani brand, owned and operated by the Faes family for more than 40 years, has been an enduring force in small business retailing. With an eye for style and focus on quality, young retail entrepreneur and mother of three girls, Candice Faes Pascolutti has been the powerhouse behind the Domani brand for the past 12 years. Injecting her digital savviness and retailing finesse into the business, totally transforming the business from manufacturing footwear on Bundall Road to importing elite European footwear exclusive to Domani, launching her own footwear brand and slaying the footwear ecommerce game.
In 2016 Candice had a thirst for ventures beyond footwear and took over the eight-year old store Bon Genre Homewares, the upmarket boutique at Marina Mirage specialising in designer homewares and luxury gifts.Ā āI believe in staying small and focused, refine your formula and prioritise sustainability then expand when the time is right.Ā Itās the next logical step to reinvent and merge my brands, to join forces and reach new heights,ā says Candice.Ā āOften the best ideas reveal themselves with time, learning and exposure to a variety of challenges.”
