Women in Business Awards of Australia

This exciting initiative for women provides a platform to honor outstanding and successful businesswomen and industry achievers. The awards encourage ambition, empower confidence and inspire new female leaders now and into the future. There are categories to recognise exceptional women including the premier award – the Woman in Business of the Year. The awards also open to young women making a difference with a special category – the Empowering Young Women’s Award open to high school students. The annual awards have been created to honour women who possess vision, innovation, entrepreneurial drive, leadership, individuality and tenacity with the ultimate goal being to present role models for other women to aspire to. The Women in Business Awards provide a platform to seek out successful and talented achievers and visionaries making a difference across Brisbane, Gold Coast, the Downs, Central and Northern QLD and Fraser and Sunshine Coast Region. Nominations open for inspiring women in business who embody leadership qualities and embrace the principles of corporate social responsibility and following the previous highly successful Awards, we are expecting the caliber of nominations to be extremely high given the plethora of talent. Entrants may enter themselves or be nominated and undergo a rigorous judging process to achieve the level of Awardee of Merit. Finalists and winners are then selected and announced at the Women in Business Awards Official Gala Event in each Awards region.
