Mother of two and tech founder Jo Burgess has created a mobile and desktop family organiser app called Life Sorted, which is now among the highest rated family organiser apps on the iTunes App Store and has seen thousands of Brisbane mothers download the app to help organise a hectic family. As a busy mother of two, a business owner and an aspiring minimalist, Burgess designed the app specifically to reduce stress around family scheduling, by increasing productivity and family communication. “Think of it like a personal assistant helping you manage your busy family life with a shared calendar, shopping lists, birthday reminders and to-do lists,” Burgess said.

Jo’s 20 years of experience developing ‘calendering’ and booking systems for the complex international salon environment, combined with having a family and managing a household, has led her to this next innovation which is helping thousands of Australian families to live a happier life, by giving them a way to keep their family events and reminders all in one place. The design layout is simple and easy to use and can be used across all devices. Mothers who have downloaded the app are overwhelmed with the simple but necessary assistance the app has brought. “I have tried many planner/family calendar apps and this is by far the best I have used,” mother Amy Louise Beauman said.

Community members are invited to download the new app through the App store or visit the website for more information.
