Rebecca Warr, from Your Journey Keepsakes has been selected as a finalist in the 2019 National AusMumpreneur awards. Rebecca will fly to Melbourne this week to be judged in the handmade business category presented by the AusMumpreneur and The Women’s Business School, which celebrate and recognise mums in business achieving outstanding success.

Rebecca is currently 34 weeks pregnant with her second child and is hoping her baby stays put for the duration of this event. Rebecca launched her hand made business late last year to help mothers all over Australia visually honour their journeys through life by crafting one of a kind keepsake jewellery pieces using a client’s own inclusions. Breastmilk, locks of hair, loved ones ashes are just some of the inclusions that Rebecca works with, and aims to preserve memories for the clients that hold onto moments that have past.

Rebecca says being a mumpreneur has been life changing for her, as she now leads a life of personal growth and will one day show her son that dreams do come true. “Selected as an AusMumpreneur finalist has inspired me to continually invest in myself, believe in myself, challenge myself and has enabled me to grow as a business woman, mother and wife. This has been a new chapter for me and I am holding on with both hands and giving it everything I have to live this dream and make a difference in people’s lives,” Rebecca concluded.

Rebecca is one of eight business women in Toowoomba and the surrounding area that have been selected as a finalist in the national awards under a variety of different categories. These awards are designed to recognise the growing number of women who successfully balance motherhood and business in a way that suits their life and family.
