Australian web design business, Five by Five, names 25-year-old Carla Schesser as their new CEO. The Cairns Region Young Woman of the Year for 2017 joined the company three years ago as Project Manager. Schesser is also the author of ‘#Success – Master the Basics to a Happy, Healthy & Wealthy Life for Young Adults’, which she wrote at the age of 19.
Founder Jon Hollenberg said “Five by Five is a true community of creative, bright and inspired individuals. We are thrilled to announce Carla as our new CEO. As 2020 kicks off, Carla’s appointment was a logical step to lead Five by Five into the new decade and beyond. This world needs more strong, young women like Carla in leadership positions if we truly want to make an impact.”
“Growth and comfort cannot coexist,” says Schesser, adding that it’s particularly true for young adults and something she has continually experienced in her own career. “When you find an organisation that is built on bringing out the best in each team member, the community and their clients while sticking to a set of aligned core values, that’s where the magic happens.”
Five by Five is a socially conscious business donating 1 percent revenue to the local community and international projects. With a 14-year track record, Five by Five takes pride in its consistent 5-star ratings from clients.
