Ambassador and collaborative role model Christina Chia wants to change the world for the better. From very modest beginnings in Malaysia as a diligent and determined young girl, Christina has thrived in Australia for more than 30 years. Her motivations are sourced from a “joy to serve and lead” and to “enthuse others to be their best self”.

Christina is a corporate executive and a woman who continues to successfully balance an array of professional commitments. Christina advocates for mental health and is a warm and impressive keynote speaker and networker. Her continual growth in leadership champions inclusivity, diversity and gender equality. She continues her community involvement with Mental Health Foundation Australia and is the current president of the Asian Australian Family Association. Embracing wisdom from many roles she strives to sponsor proactive cultural conversation.

Christina is the Board Director of the Chinese Association of Australia and Co-Founder of MYC Heart Connectors. This not-for-profit online platform is on the forefront of sharing ideas and generating sustainable value in the challenging Covid economy. Demonstrated so clearly in her present position as a Chief Operating Officer, she continues to work to re-calibrate company culture and spearhead the coaching and tuition of the business. Christina has worked as a mentor for RMIT university since 2014.

Christina is passionate about engaging women in the importance of recognition, the celebration of diversity, and motivating others to develop resilience. In September 2022, she was host and MC of Bringing Out the Best in You. At this wonderful function she appreciated the opportunity to encourage insight into women’s mental health and business proficiency.

Motherhood and family encourage Christina to achieve. As the past and present Executive Judge of the 7News Young Achiever Awards in addition to the Regional Community Awards, she continues to motivate and support young people. Christina was awarded by the Victorian Multicultural Commission in 2022 and the Skylark Foundation Australia in 2020 for being a role model and inspirational leader for multicultural communities. The same year she achieved the Paul Harris Fellow Sapphire Award for Recognition of Outstanding Community Contributions.
