Themed Women and Girls in a Time of Crisis, WOW Global 24 includes a wide range of thought leaders. The content will be streamed on two channels and ‘roll’ around the world with speakers from every continent. Speakers from Australia and the Pacific include (but are not limited to): The Hon Quentin Bryce, The Hon. Julia Gillard, June Oscar AO, Hana Assafiri OAM, Natasha Stott Despoja AO, Noelene Nabulivou, Kate Jenkins OAM, Professor Carolyn Evans, Vanessa Heleta, Jane Caro AM, Leanne Kemp, Faiza el Higzi OAM, Kim Rubenstein, Michelle Reddy, Professor Anne Tiernan, Professor Sue Harris Rimmer, Carla Garvie, Alanna Bastin-Byrne, Jade Collins, Kate Rose, Jane Milburn, Tahlulah Tillett, with local stories from women in Timor Leste, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, and outback Queensland. PLUS performances from WOW Australia poet in residence Anisa Nandaula, musician Áine Tyrrell, Vulcana Circus, and singer Laisa Luala Vulakoro (Fiji).
