The Park Hotel in Brisbane has appointed Tegan Baker as Sales Manager after transitioning from The Watermark Hotel to The Park Hotel under new ownership.
Tegan brings eight years’ experience in the Brisbane hotel market to her new role. Her previous positions have included Conference and Events Sales Executive at the Pullman and Mercure King George Square, and Conference and Events Sales Coordinator at The Sebel Brisbane. At The Park Hotel, Tegan will implement sales strategy plans and business development goals, while using a customer focus to maximise revenue for the multi-faceted property.
General Manager at The Park Hotel Jude Pollock said the expansion of the sales team will be greatly welcomed. “I am confident Tegan’s wealth of experience and industry knowledge will be a key addition to The Park Hotel brand, and I am excited to welcome her,” he said. “Not only is she highly experienced in what she does, but also dedicated to providing the best possible experience for our corporate and leisure travellers.”
The Park Hotel is now under the banner of Event Hotels and Resorts and overlooks Brisbane’s Roma Street Parklands at 551 Wickham Terrace in Spring Hill. The property boasts 94 guest rooms, a restaurant, bar and conference facilities for up to 200 people.
