Paris Thomson is the award-winning founder and creative director of luxury creative studio SIRAP.
SIRAP produces best-in-class video content for some of Australia’s most prestigious and recognisable brands including Lexus, David Jones, Crown, National Gallery of Victoria, the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Melbourne Food and Wine, and MECCA.
Since founding SIRAP as an ambitious young creative in 2013, Paris’ work has taken her internationally — shooting across Melbourne, Venice, Hong Kong, Milan, and New York — and she has built a dedicated full-time, in-house team of nearly 20 creative producers, directors, cinematographers, and editors.
A huge foodie and lover of the arts, Paris’ creativity stems from her upbringing. She is the only daughter of two Melbourne-based creatives: her mother worked in the rag trade for many years and her father was a successful commercial photographer. This melded with her grandparent’s backgrounds, both of whom were professional classical musicians. The intimate world of ballet, opera, and fine art became a familiar and much-loved one and is still an influence that Paris continues to draw inspiration from.
