Actor Sarah Monahan will be a keynote speaker at the Women in Leadership Summit in Sydney from 22-25 November 2022.
Sarah kickstarted her acting career in her role at Hey Dad…! when she was only six years old. In 2010, almost 20 years after the show the fact, Sarah alleged on A Current Affair that she was sexually abused on set by Robert Hughes – the actor that played her on-screen father. Thus, set in motion a sensational media storm over the next 13 years – during which she endured disbelief, abuse and estrangement from the public, media and arts alike – and eventually culminated in her vindication and the conviction of Hughes.
