Shaynna Blaze is one of the most recognisable faces on television, host of a multitude of renovation shows such as Selling Houses Australia, Shaynna’s World of Design, Deadline Design, Buying Blind as well as a judge on The Block. In 2021 you would have seen Shaynna as a contestant on Celebrity Apprentice, which she also won.

Prior to becoming a television design superstar, Shaynna had a successful design business straight out of design school for eight years while having two kids. When her marriage broke up she was now a single mother of two so went back to one of her other loves, music and worked as a jazz singer to keep afloat whilst trying to raise her young children. She later reignited her design business and after five years found herself on TV.

Fast forward to 2022, Shaynna not only has her own thriving design business, Blank Canvas Interiors, but she has authored two interior design books; starred on multiple television shows and collaborated her designs with brands such as Montgomery Homes, Molmic Furniture, OneWorld Collection, Urban Road, Timberline and Harris Scarfe. She has also launched a charity called Voice of Change which seeks to use the arts as a platform that invokes a movement against family violence.

Shaynna also executive produced an independent movie called, The Fort, with her children which also centers around the theme of family violence. Shaynna will be speaking at the Women in Leadership Summit 2022 in Sydney from 22-25 February. In her exclusive keynote, Shaynna talks us through the highs and lows of her career and how this one-time single mother became the face of design in Australia.
