As the CEO of Coreo, a catalytic circular economy consultancy, Ashleigh is unwavering in her commitment to be of service to the creation of an economy that respects and values people and nature.

With recognition of her strategic foresight and experience in the private and public sectors, Ashleigh is listed in the world’s Top 100 CSR Influential Leaders for 2020; an Australian ASEAN Emerging Leader; and was an invitee to the 73rd United Nations General Assembly. Ashleigh holds advisory roles with industry bodies for mining, textiles and renewable fuels and was appointed to the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games Legacy Committee.

In addition, Ashleigh was awarded the Lord Mayor of Brisbane’s 2020 Young Business Person of the Year, and most recently recognised as one of Queensland’s Outstanding Young Leaders in the inaugural 40 Under 40 Awards. She is also an Ellen MacArthur Foundation ‘From Linear to Circular’ Expert Mentor, an honour granted to only a handful of people worldwide.

Internationally, Ashleigh is a Responsible Mining Expert and Director for WasteFuels, working with the world leading biofuel company to decarbonise shipping and aviation. Locally, Ashleigh is a founding Board Member for the Australian Circular Economy Hub, and is a Board Director for Thread Together, working with the team to design waste out of the textiles industry.

As an accomplished global thought leader and speaker, most notably speaking at TEDx Sydney Australia’s Flagship event 2021, Ashleigh represented Australia as a panellist and speaker in 2019, 2021 and 2023 at the World Circular Economy Forum, alongside the former European Commissioner for the Environment. She has had an audience with two Australian Prime Ministers and travelled with the Federal Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment to Japan on a Future Leaders, Future Cities Business Mission.

Ashleigh’s breadth of industry experience is complemented by a Bachelor of Environmental Health Science and First Class Honours in Environmental Management. She has received a Prime Minister’s Scholarship and the highest honour a university can bestow, the University Medal.
