Llewella McNabb started her career with Village Roadshow Theme Parks (VRTP) over 16 years ago as a Ride Operator at Movie World and is now the Head of Operations for Sea World, Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet N Wild theme parks.

She is a highly engaging, enthusiastic and devoted team member who loves working in the tourism industry. Working in the theme parks allows her love of problem-solving, teamwork and delivering exceptional guest service to flourish. Drawing on her own fond memories of holidaying with her family, Llewella is passionate about creating joy and memories for guests by anticipating their needs and producing frictionless experiences.

She cares deeply about safety and understands the value of forging collaborative relationships and sharing knowledge. Llewella finds purpose in mentoring others, and making a positive impact in everything she does. She takes great pride in presenting world-class experiences for visitors of all ages to come and enjoy.

Llewella’s work ethic and love of guest service has made her an excellent representative for the Gold Coast tourism industry, and she is continually working to adapt processes and experiences to suit the ever-changing landscape. Llewella currently manages a team of 34 supervisors, of which almost all are female. Having been mentored by strong, intelligent women throughout her career, Llewella is an advocate for women in leadership positions. She aims to build leaders who thrive in face of pressure, who support and lift each other up, and who empower other women to be brave and decisive.

Llewella had the honour of speaking at the Women in Tourism Australia conference in 2021, a platform she feels fosters a positive, empowering and supportive culture in the tourism industry, a philosophy she is very passionate about. In her personal time, Llewella prepares and delivers meals for the homeless community and regularly donates to individuals in need.
