Mustard Made, the colourful homewares brand known for its vintage inspired metal lockers, has launched in the USA – making it the third continent for the sister-founded startup.

Mustard Made is founded by sisters Becca and Jess Stern in Sydney in 2016. When the business had just started, there were only two products provided. However, as the business expands rapidly, the brand now offers eight products in ten on-trend colourways, with a team of 15 located on three continents and serving customers right across the globe.

The sisters launched the brand as they were inspired by vintage furniture. They reimagined the traditional locker to create a new breed of homewares for the home, kids’ rooms, or workspaces. The lockers come in an on-trend colour palette of brights, pastels, and neutrals with different sizes to choose from. Besides, the brand provides a collection of coordinating accessories, such as baskets and hangers for customers.

With the revenue doubled year-on-year, the sisters finally decided to launch the brand to the USA, the traditional home of the high school locker. “Mustard has made a name for itself across the Australian, UK and European markets, and with a growing global interest in our products through the power of social media, it’s the perfect time to bring our brand to US consumers,” said Becca Stern. The brand has gained a cult of following and has become a trend on social media since its launch in 2018.
