The winners of the 14th annual Stevie Awards for sales and customer service were held on Friday 6 March at a gala ceremony in Las Vegas NV. Three Australian companies were named as Stevie Award Winners.

The Audacious Agency (Coombabah, Queensland), operated by Annette Densham and Lauren Clemett, won the Gold Stevie award, the top honor, for Young Customer Service Professional of the Year- All Other Industries. They also won two Bronze Stevie Awards for Front-Line Customer Service Team of the Year – All Other Industries and for Best Customer Engagement Initiative.  They help entrepreneurs and business owners to create unique brands, develop captivating brand stories, build profitable platform and select the right channels to rocket launch client, client brand and client’s business into the limelight. Locks Lash (Melbourne, Victoria), operated by Jessica Brown won the Gold Stevie Award for Sales Distinction of the Year – All Other Industries. They are in the beauty industry providing all the products needed for a salon or technician to apply eyelash extensions, and Sydney and West Painting and Rope Access pty ltd (Winmalee, NSW), operated by Lauren Eaton won the Bronze Stevie Award for Business Development Achievement of the Year – Services Industries. They are trade qualified painters with IRATA rope access qualifications to carry out abseiling.

More than 2600 nominations from organizations in 48 nations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were evaluated in this year’s competition. Finalists were determined by the average scores of 180 professionals worldwide, in seven specialized judging committees. Entries were considered in categories for customer service and contact center achievements, including Contact Center of the Year, Award for Innovation in Customer Service, and Customer Service Department of the Year; categories for sales and business development achievements, ranging from Senior Sales Executive of the Year to Sales Training or Business Development Executive of the Year to Sales Department of the Year; and categories to recognize new products and services and solution providers.
