Lara Zilibowitz is a leading Australian yoga teacher at BodyMindLife. Lara has a long-standing passion for creative expression through the body. Introduced to yoga at just 16 years old, Lara’s creative side builds a strong connection between art, ceramics and yoga, which collectively brand her as an influencer and wellness expert.

She believes creativity forms a gateway towards meditation and follows whatever causes a revolution in her heart. Once a senior editor for Delicious, MasterChef and Good Taste magazines, Laura now travels as an international yogi and ambassador, pledging her way forward for peace, health and wellbeing. After falling in love with the fluidity of Prana Vinyasa at Parmarth Niketan Ashram in India, she sought out opportunities to study with senior teachers across the globe, immersing herself into a deeper practice. Her personal journey has been a profound transformation, with yoga and art providing the keystones in her quest towards holistic wellbeing. She now shares her passions for meditation and healing through movement and creativity.

Inspired deeply by the teachings inherent in nature, each practice with Lara is a call for a conscious connection with ourselves and the world around us, as we map our inner and outer topography with every breath, movement and paint brush stroke. Famous for her fluid and dynamic teaching style, Lara leads yoga classes at the new BodyMindLife studio opening this April in Byron Bay. Lara offers Open Yoga sessions, gently heated to 30 degrees, designed to challenge and inspire the body and mind, on Tuesday’s, Thursday’s and Sunday’s. Lara is also co-founder of Back2Roots Retreats and training, hosting transformative immersions around Australia and abroad, alongside movement alchemist Shiva Rea. Lara is an ambassador for lululemon athletica, Aveda hair and skin and headlining partner of Wanderlust Festivals ANZ
