Close to 100 business women from the Redlands Coast celebrated Queensland Women’s Week in style at a VIP Night, held in conjunction with the McGuire Group on Wednesday 6 March.

The evening included a panel discussion with the Member of Redlands Kim Richards MP, Women’s Network Australia (WNA) CEO Janelle Bostock, Mulberry Seed Communication Founder Cheryl Gray, and McGuires Hotel Group Functions & Sales Manager Melina Sykes. The panel was hosted by Number One Best Selling Author Barry Nicolaou, a Law of Attraction Coach featured on Home Shopping Channel, Wisdom Hour Host and Mind Body Spirit Festival.

The panel discussed their inspirations, coping strategies and dealing with vulnerabilities based around the Queensland Women’s Week theme of Invest in Women, Invest in the Future, Invest in You. The evening also highlighted the events and catering expertise of McGuires Hotels, with an abundant grazing station,and wine appreciation tips from the well-stocked wine bar.

Janelle Bostock of WNA said connecting local businesses and supporting business women through their growth and development were key aims of Women’s Network Australia.”We’re seeing increasing interest among business women in the Redlands Coast and we’re looking forward to welcoming them to the WNA tribe,”she said.

The next WNA Redlands Coast event taking place on Wednesday 3 April at the Alexandra Hills Hotel Conference Centre will focus on making the most from Google Ad Words, featuring presenter Debra Yuille.
